The girls had a party at school and the parents were invited to see all the creative projects they have been doing. It was fun to see all of their hard work. Their teacher dressed up silly and the kids had stuffed versions of themselves sitting at there desks. It was a fun night.
Our first Family Beach Vacation October 2, 2009
Last week our family was blessed with one week of unhurried time together. It was one of the best times we have ever shared. Adam’s dad generously gave us a place to stay for the week. We enjoyed a week of sunshine, laughter, playing, and togetherness at Hilton Head. We will treasure the week had together always.
Fall camp October 2, 2009
We had a unique opportunity through Adam’s job to go to family camp. It was a weekend for families to come and connect with one another. It was a special time for our family and the girls really got to do a lot of neat things.

We have a new member in our family September 1, 2009
We joyfully announce that Alexa will be joining the Vaughan family. She will be with us for the next few months. We pray this will be a blessed time for all. The kids adore her and we are thankful for the added laughter she brings to our home.

We know that the Lord has great things planned for this school year. At times it is hard to trust Him during the unknown but it’s comforting to know that He is in control and He is good!

Fun on the 4th!!! July 5, 2009
Our family had a wonderful 4th. The highlight for our family was going to the annual parade. The girls love the sights and treats they give out. It’s become a sweet tradition.

Gardening has been one of our families biggest blessings this year. We have all had fun watching everything bloom and grow. Emmiline has a special love for gardening and wants to visit it several times a day. We are filled with joy each time we get to pick something. The girls were especially excited when we made chocolate chip zucchini bread.
